Photograph Restoration: Severe

This is a wedding photograph taken in the late 1800s. The surface paper had lifted off all over the photo, probably as a result of moisture sticking the photo to another surface. There was just enough left of the faces to be able to reconstruct their features. Correcting the contrast also revealed a lovely lace dress. The restored version was given a new sepia tone.
