Photograph Retouching: Moderate
Although photo restoration was done to replace the missing pieces
and remove the scratches, most of the work done in this photograph
was to the woman's face. Her eyebrow appeared to be raised unnaturally
high, and a highlight beside her eye only accentuated the problem.
In the finished version her eyebrow was lowered to match the other
one, the highlight toned down and the shadows softened. There was
also a smudge near the corner of her mouth which was removed. A
faux border was added to the photograph to change the finished size
to 8"x10", and a sepia tone for the final touch.
